Our council works closely with the Parish, school and organizations throughout the area by providing funds for various charitable programs and projects throughout the year. We have contributed to several organizations as part of the Intellectual Disability drive; Special Olympics via the Village of Sleepy Hollow, and Little Angels in Elgin, Illinois. TLC received an ultrasound machine due to the benevolence of an anonymous donor, a "Knight", as well as support from the Siena council. We support the FISH food pantry, two Seminarians, and several other organizations and support the Parish picnic annually. The Challenger event for handicapped children is truly a heartwarming experience. We also have a an annual Christmas tree sales event. The Fr. Edward Seizer Memorial Scholarship has been developed to support needy students at our school. There are too many examples of our acts of charity to list here, but through these selfless acts we continue to grow stronger in unity and fraternity and benefit from the feeling of fulfillment of making a significant contribution to our parish and our community.
